DNHN - VinFast announces that the DrgnFly e-bike will retail for $2,800 in the United States. VinFast intends to export this e-bike model to numerous additional nations after it enters the US market, though the exact strategy has not yet been disclosed.

VinFast unveiled a new e-bike model, the DrgnFly, during the CES 2024 event in the United States. The product name DrgnFly is inspired by the image of a soaring dragon, symbolising the great Thang Long heritage of the Vietnamese people.
VinFast and Eskild Hansen, a renowned Danish creative agency with multiple prestigious Red Dot awards, collaborated on the design of VinFast DrgnFly.
The long, V-shaped frame of the DrgnFly design, called "Thang Long," is evocative of a soaring dragon and represents VinFast's innovative ascent to new heights. This e-bike model features a comfortable saddle, broad tyres, and handlebars.
Aluminium is used to enhance flexibility and durability in the DrgnFly frame during rolling. The lithium battery that powers DrgnFly is mounted on the frame and has a range of up to 102 kilometres when fully charged. It is simple to install and remove.
The DrgnFly bike has a torque sensor, a single-speed transmission, and an integrated 750W motor that allows it to attain a maximum speed of 45 km/h.
VinFast noted that the significant feature of the motor on the DrgnFly is the torque sensor that measures changes in force at a frequency of 16,000 times/second.
Because VinFast DrgnFly has mobile applications and 4G connectivity incorporated, it can be remotely unlocked and locked, located, and can save ride history—all characteristics that make it an intelligent e-bike.
VinFast revealed that DrgnFly is anticipated to retail for $2,800 in the US. VinFast intends to export this e-bike model to numerous additional nations after it enters the US market, though the exact strategy has not yet been disclosed.
DrgnFly, the newest component of VinFast's extensive electric car ecosystem, helps to expand the range of sustainable mobility alternatives and brings electric vehicles closer to people so that everyone may work together to create a better and greener future.
In addition to the DrgnFly e-bike, VinFast also debuted the VF3 compact electric and the company’s first electric pickup truck, the VF Wild. VinFast did not share prices or precise launch dates for the VF3 and VF Wild. Chairwoman Le Thi Thu Thuy, however, stated that the VF3 will retail for less than $20,000 and should be accessible in the US by the beginning of next year.
