According to Google Destination Insights, Vietnam was the seventh most-searched destination in the world from March to June, and the only Southeast Asian country to make the top 20.

Statistics from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism indicate that in the first half of 2023, this country received more than 5.5 million international visitors, surpassing the total number of international visitors in the previous year.
Vietnam's tourism industry has continued to experience unprecedented growth. According to projections from the National Administration of Tourism, the tourism industry's goal for the remainder of 2023 is to receive 8 million visitors, but this number may be exceeded by 10 million.

Additionally, a new visa policy has been implemented, which will help to attract more international tourists. The visa-free period for visitors from certain countries has been extended from 15 to 45 days. As for visitors from eligible nations, they will be granted an e-visa to enter Vietnam with a 90-day validity and single or multiple entries.
Vietnam has established itself as a destination of interest, allure, and potential in Southeast Asia. With its breathtaking landscapes, cultural diversity, and tourism industry enhancements, it is not surprising that Vietnam is attracting increasing interest and affection from tourists around the world.
