DNHN - On the afternoon of August 22, the VINASME will have the honor of meeting with the General Secretary and President Tô Lâm to report on the results of their activities. This significant event is organized by the Business and Integration Magazine.
The event, where the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME), including several prominent entrepreneurs who have actively contributed to the Association's movements, will have the honor of meeting with Comrade General Secretary and President, demonstrates the Party's and the State's attention to the Association's activities and the small and medium enterprise community.
In an interview with the Business and Integration Magazine, Dr. Tô Hoài Nam, Executive Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME), stated: "Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) currently account for 98% of the total number of operating enterprises in Vietnam, and within the private economic sector, small and medium enterprises make up 96%. This highlights the significant representation of the small and medium enterprise community, as well as their meaningful position and role in the development and construction of Vietnam's economy. The fact that the General Secretary and President agreed to meet with the small and medium enterprise community shows the Party's and the State's interest in the SME sector and also reflects the desire for this community to continue developing further in the future. The SME sector must also fulfill its political mission, its responsibility in economic development, creating jobs and income for over 34 million workers. This is a crucial factor in the socio-economic development."
"In the context of deepening international integration, with many free trade agreements being signed, the linkage between enterprises is not only necessary but also a decisive factor for them to compete in the international market. This connection will help create synergistic strength, opening up many new development opportunities," Dr. Tô Hoài Nam assessed.
According to Dr. Tô Hoài Nam, through this meeting, the Association will organize more widespread propaganda campaigns, seeing this as one of the key directions, confirming the Party and State's interest in encouraging businesses to continue to unite, link, and cooperate in production and business. This unity will be a solid foundation for businesses to develop, creating more added value for society, from generating employment to contributing to the national budget.
"Businesses will gain more confidence in the attention of the Party and State leaders. From there, they will invest more deeply in their production and business activities, investing heavily in high-tech activities. This, in part, fulfills their social responsibilities while also strengthening their position in the economy," Dr. Tô Hoài Nam shared.
