DNHN - The Campaign Committee of the Fund "For the Poor" of Thanh Hoa province held a conference on the afternoon of July 17 to review the work of caring for and assisting the poor to implement the social security programme in the first six months of 2023.

Ms Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, a member of the Standing Committee, head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilisation, chair of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and head of the Campaign Committee of the Provincial Fund "For the Poor", presided over the conference. Mr. Ninh Quang Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, represented the association.
The Provincial Business Association has mobilised the business community and entrepreneurs from inside and outside the province to participate in the Fund "For the Poor" by supporting visits, awarding scholarships, and creating jobs to boost the incomes of the poor. poor; supporting civil works, housing for low-income families... worth 2.5 billion Vietnamese Dong. In the first six months of 2023, the Provincial Fund "For the Poor" Campaign Committee implemented synchronous solutions to mobilise and assist poor households and the poor, as well as effective social security programmes, thereby fostering the growth of the poor. for the poor to improve their lives and sustainably escape poverty.
As of 30 June, the Fund "For the Poor" at all levels has raised over 50,4 billion Vietnamese Dong (VND). From this fund, 904 large houses of solidarity have been renovated and repaired to the tune of over 42 billion Vietnamese Dong. Fund "Support Dien Bien" has received more than 584 million in contributions from 30 units, businesses, organisations, and individuals in the province. Throughout the first half of the year, agencies, units, and localities have actively promoted and mobilised businesses, organisations, and individuals to implement social security programmes and care for union members, members, and households. poverty reached over 46,6 billion people. Ms Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, speaking after the conference, acknowledged and praised the results of caring for and assisting the poor, implementing the social security programme over the past six months, and building community trust. The Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province suggested that members of the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilisation Committee of the province continue to implement care for the poor extensively and practically; coordinate with the Provincial Advocacy Committee to deploy the peak month for the poor, mobilising the best resources to support the poor, particularly those with housing difficulties. He recommended that the Fundraising Committee "For the Poor" at all levels continue to receive and manage the funds transparently and by the procedure so that the support sources can reach the poor and disadvantaged households as quickly as possible. hard.
