According to experts, Phu Quoc and Da Lat continue to be popular destinations in the North and Central regions of Vietnam this year. The tendency for individual travelers to choose to travel with family, enjoy their vacation, and unwind is a particular focus.

However, the increased demand has caused airfares to rise. Particularly, itineraries to well-known tourist destinations like Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Quy Nhon are experiencing significant price increases. This circumstance may cause domestic travel packages to be more expensive than international travel packages, influencing tourists' decisions to purchase domestic tours.

In recent years, international travel has become increasingly popular due to its affordable cost. Specifically, destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Indonesia all offer competitive prices relative to domestic travel. Additionally, foreign travel offers superior experiences, such as flying on 4-5 star airlines and staying in 3-4 star hotels.

With a substantial increase in the number of international destinations, Vietnam Airlines Group is projected to offer more than 155,000 seats on international routes, which is double the number offered in 2022. This year, fares will be flexible in response to market conditions. In addition, airlines such as Vietjet Air and Bamboo Airways have launched numerous flexible-priced promotions to further promote the tourism market's recovery and development.
