DNHN - The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association held a ceremony on July 30, 2021, in Hanoi, to award the title of Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2023.
Since 2015, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association have organised a voting and awarding programme for the title of outstanding young entrepreneur. Participants are young business owners. No more than thirty-five are effectively managing and operating enterprises that participate in social work and community development.

Mr Tran Tuan Anh - a Member of the Politburo, Head of the Central Economic Commission and Mr Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union presented the award to Mr Nguyen Huu Nghia, a young businessman. Awarded.
The programme has awarded titles to 557 young entrepreneurs through seven implementations (2015-2023) and has received positive feedback from young entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs across the nation.
In particular, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has, since 2016, established the Investment and Startup Club with a core of young entrepreneurs who have won awards over the years. Step-by-step innovating to meet the needs of startup support, the club has designed and oriented its activities to foster a favourable environment for promoting and supporting young entrepreneurs and young people in the process of starting a business. Youth occupations.
In April of 2023, the programme for voting and awarding the title of outstanding young entrepreneur will be implemented. Consequently, 119 applications from 40 provinces and cities across Canada were selected to participate in the Programme.
The General Selection Board met on June 28 and, after three rounds of rigorous and scientific voting at the Central Government (preliminary selection - practical evaluation - final selection), selected 81 typical candidates for the award. The title of Outstanding Young Entrepreneur and a vote for the ten best candidates for the TOP10 award were conducted in secret.
In 2022, enterprises of Young Entrepreneurs with Excellent Start-ups 2023 generated VND 1,698 billion in revenue, VND 104 billion in profit, and VND 39 billion for the state budget.
According to the Organising Committee, the programme of voting and awarding the title of Excellent Startup Young Entrepreneur is one of the pioneering activities of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association in implementing the Government-launched National Startup Programme. In the context of economic recovery, numerous entrepreneurs, particularly young entrepreneurs, continue to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. Voting and recognising outstanding young entrepreneurs in 2023 will be even more crucial.
A seminar with the theme "LEARN TO LEAD" was held within the framework of the programme, with the participation of eminent guest speakers from the business community, businesses, and startups.
Speakers and more than 200 guest delegates have the opportunity to exchange and share valuable experiences and lessons in production, business, and their entrepreneurial journeys, thereby assisting each other.
