The criteria for the award place a strong emphasis on senior cybersecurity leaders' future vision and a governance framework designed to address the growing complexity of cybersecurity attacks.

Leaders in cybersecurity from markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia have nominated numerous candidates to CSO30 ASEAN this year. Within their organizations, nominated leaders assume roles at the national, regional, and worldwide levels. A few of them work in the field of business cybersecurity as well.
