DNHN - In addition to seasonal fruits for Vietnamese consumers, Dong Xanh Farm has also prepared various fruits tailored to the needs of local consumers in key markets such as the US, Europe, and Australia.
From the success of the first batch of ripe Star Apple fruits conquering the US market
In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Dragon, Dong Xanh Farm's system operated at nearly 200% capacity to ensure timely delivery of meticulously packaged ripe Star Apple fruits to US consumers, one of the most demanding markets in terms of product quality inspection. The importing and distributing partner in the US market is CTWS Group - a company specializing in importing products from Vietnam, especially traditional and specialty products.
By the evening of February 4, 2024 (Lunar December 25), the entire batch of Star Apple fruits had been sold out to consumers by CTWS Group, with very positive feedback on the product quality. "We are fortunate that Star Apple fruits have been warmly welcomed by customers in the US. The carefully selected fruits ensure excellent quality along with beautiful packaging. Dong Xanh Farm continuously receives orders from various cities in the US. Therefore, we will fulfill the next orders right after the Lunar New Year," said Ms. Huynh Ngoc Bich Dao, General Director of Dong Xanh Farm.
It can be said that while other countries such as Cambodia, the Philippines, India, Thailand, and the Northern Territory (Australia) only consume Star Apple fruits domestically, Vietnam has become the only country to export this type of fruit, according to information from the Plant Protection Department (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development). Vietnamese Star Apple fruits are exported to many countries around the world such as Australia, New Zealand, China, Russia, the EU, and most recently the US. This is not only the pride of Dong Xanh Farm but also of many Vietnamese businesses and farmers because, in a certain aspect, Vietnamese fruits have asserted their position on the competitive global agricultural stage.
...To bring Vietnamese seasonal fruits to the world by Dong Xanh Farm
Following the success of the first high-quality batch of Star Apple fruits in the US, the General Director of Dong Xanh Farm revealed good news before the Lunar New Year this year: "After market surveys and research in the US, European, and Australian markets, along with the success of the first batch of Star Apple fruits to the US, it proves the ability to meet the demand of Vietnamese overseas consumers by Dong Xanh Farm. In addition to seasonal fruits for Vietnamese consumers, we have also prepared suitable fruits for local consumption in key markets such as the US, Europe, and Australia."
To prepare for this plan, Dong Xanh Farm's team is making daily efforts and meticulous care in every specific step, from planting to reaching consumers' hands. The vegetable and fruit farms of Dong Xanh Farm all adhere to strict procedures and are GlobalGAP certified. The planting process is also applied according to the natural development characteristics of each type: from planting distance, soil bed height, maintaining moisture irrigation schedule, creating conditions for plants to absorb nutrients from the soil over their growth period. Additionally, the harvesting, packaging, and preservation process are all closed-loop, from greenhouses, orchards to transportation by refrigerated trucks to ensure suitable temperatures to preserve the nutrients of vegetables and fruits.
"With the goal of becoming a reliable and best choice for fresh domestic and exported fruits and vegetables to countries worldwide, Dong Xanh Farm is committed to bringing customers unique products according to the message we want to convey. That is cleanliness, deliciousness, nutritional value, and reasonable prices," affirmed Ms. Bich Dao - General Director of Dong Xanh Farm.
Currently, Dong Xanh Farm has tens of hectares of vegetable and fruit farms in Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Soc Trang, Tay Ninh, Cu Chi... as a source of supplying fruits and vegetables that meet the strictest standards to ensure the highest quality international products, distributed globally, contributing to building and promoting the brand image of Vietnamese fruits.
