To establish a basis for considering requests for exemptions (with restrictions on the volume, quantity of exempted goods, and exempted purposes) for the above products, the Trade Remedies Department recommends that stainless steel manufacturers in Vietnam contact the Trade Remedies Administration and provide comments on the production and supply capabilities of domestic companies requesting exemptions.

According to the Trade Remedies Department, if enterprises have been able to produce and supply them, please provide detailed information about the design capacity, contract and sales invoice of the products requested for exemption.

Additionally, firms must express their views and opinions on the exemption for products subject to anti-dumping duties on cold-rolled stainless steel imported prior to April 25, 2022. If no comment is received within this time period, the Trade Remedies Administration assumes that the companies have no opinion on the aforementioned product exception.
