DNHN - Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial People's Council and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, affirmed that tourism is a vital economic sector and one of the province's three economic pillars.
Two years after the implementation of Resolution 06, the tourism sector in Binh Thuan has witnessed significant progress, accomplishing numerous critical objectives. It is anticipated that approximately 8.3 million visitors will visit Binh Thuan in 2023, generating approximately 19,500 billion VND in total tourist revenue and 9,750 billion VND in tourism-related GDP. Binh Thuan ranks among the ten provinces in Vietnam in terms of tourism revenue, which surpasses 10,000 billion VND.

The National Tourism Year 2023 will be commemorated in Binh Thuan in 2023 under the theme "Binh Thuan – Green Convergence." This presents a remarkable opportunity for the tourism sector in Binh Thuan to emerge as a tourism hotspot in the Central region and the entire nation shortly.
Delegates evaluated the outcomes and constraints of the Resolution 06 implementation process during the conference. Infrastructure, propaganda, resources, and tourism products are all examples of constraints... In addition to upgrading and repairing monuments, preserving tourism resources, and concentrating on the management of historical relics, delegates put forth a variety of other suggestions.
Duong Van An, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Binh Thuan, underscored the critical significance of tourism in fostering the socio-economic progress of the province. Mr An also lauded the rapid recovery of provincial tourism following the COVID-19 pandemic-affected years of 2012 and 2013, particularly in light of the two motorway segments Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet-Dau Giay being operational. Mr. An further advised the community not to be complacent, but rather to candidly recognize its shortcomings, strive to enhance its domestic capabilities and revitalize and elevate the standard of tourism to ensure sustainability and stability.

In the course of implementing Resolution 06, delegates at the conference deliberated on a variety of crucial topics, including development, planning, policy, the tourism ecosystem, and state management of land and the environment. Spiritual tourism development in conjunction with regional strengths in commerce, services, and the sea.
