Be Flowers Foundation and its goal "Improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese human resources on the world map"

There are numerous instances of students abandoning their university studies in favour of transferring to a community college to pursue their desired field of study.

There was also a time when students frequently chose careers based on their parents' and society's expectations but later regretted not following their passion, resulting in the wrong profession or unemployment. Students applying for jobs lack confidence, continue to struggle, and lack soft skills. This is a common occurrence among the vast majority of students who fall into similar situations; they are perpetually struggling and unable to escape. Few individuals are successful.

Pursuing knowledge and aspirations always results in constant change. Nonetheless, reality is not as perfect as we might assume. 58% of graduates do not know where to apply for a job, 42% do not meet the employer's requirements, and 27% cannot get a job because their major is not marketable. Even 18% of students are unable to find employment because employers are unaware of the training industry. The numbers are not meaningless statistics but reflect the current state of affairs.

"Many teachers are devoted to imparting all knowledge to students to help them achieve high test scores and gain admission to prestigious universities, but they neglect to equip students with skills and life attitudes... for you. Dr. Khanh Ngoc stated that as a result, it is exceedingly difficult for students to obtain employment despite their ability to pass extremely rigorous university entrance examinations.

According to GCI (Global Competitiveness Index) statistics, Vietnam's human resource competitiveness currently ranks 93 out of 141 nations. Vietnam ranks 116th in soft skills competitiveness, behind both Laos and Cambodia.

Therefore, the Be Flowers Foundation was created with the aim of "Improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese human resources on the world map"

What is the reason why businesses recruit new graduates who do not meet the employer's requirements?

There are three primary reasons: the quality of your education, your skills, and your attitude at work. Graduates can respond very well in terms of knowledge, but work attitude accounts for 70% of the employer's response, and students currently have a very large knowledge gap in this area. This is why companies continue to lack personnel and students continue to struggle to find employment.

Due to the current and persistent situation, many students only know how to study, lack obstacles and life experiences, and do not know who they are, their strengths and weaknesses. what are your hobbies? Therefore, when standing at the threshold of universities, before choosing a career, they feel very confused and frequently choose based on the current trend, rather than their actual strengths and weaknesses. As a result, when they graduate and their environment changes, they are more likely to give up. Many of you have put your degrees on hold to work as labourers or shippers... This is an enormous burden for today's youth, as well as an enormous waste of resources for society and their families.

Be Flowers Social Fund was established with the mission of "Improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese human resources on the world map" using the A-S-K model. This model incorporates Attitude-skill-knowledge, one of the most widely used models for evaluating employee capacity based on three primary factors: attitude, knowledge, and skills. This model is derived from Benjamin Bloom's (1956) fundamental ideas.

In provinces and cities across the nation, the Active Teaching programme has implemented A-S-K-based teacher training courses over the past seven years. Teachers have also gradually introduced this model into the teaching process, while providing career guidance to students so that they can learn skills, how to work in groups, and, most importantly, gradually develop the skills, qualities, and attitudes necessary to be successful individuals and worker, such as commitment, integrity, ownership, willingness to learn, and cooperation... And now, with the birth of Be Flowers as well, the training programme for teachers and lecturers with sufficient capacity to train students using the A-S-K model will advance even more rapidly.

"Career counselling is extremely important. If eighth- and ninth-grade students are aware of their strengths and weaknesses, they will know how to become an entrepreneur, a business owner, or a professional. MSc. Anna Hang Nguyen stated, "Join... according to your dreams, and you will know how to proceed to better prepare for your future and achieve success more quickly."

Anyone with a career, whether they are teachers, students, or parents, can appreciate the significance of early career guidance. Each individual will be able to identify their strengths and weaknesses and choose the correct path from the outset with the assistance of career counselling. This will help save time and energy and bring societal benefits.

A life with defined objectives and purpose. A happy life with the choices you've made, so that everyone may LIVE LIKE FLOWERS. This is the objective of Be Flowers.
