The Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival is one of the most significant, sacred, and distinctive celebrations in Hai Duong. This is also one of the country's largest autumn celebrations that has been preserved for over seven centuries.

The opening ceremony of this year's festival is the first and most significant of a series of ceremonies. At precisely 7:30 a.m., the worship team, along with people and tourists from all over the world, entered the Bac House courtyard of Kiep Bac Temple to respectfully present Saint Tran Hung Dao with incense, flowers, ritual items, vegetarian offerings, and salt offerings.

The worshipping team is comprised of local elders offering blessings to pray for peace for the people, praying for peace and prosperity in the country, good weather, good harvests, the eradication of diseases, and world peace; I hope the autumn festival goes off without a hitch.

Planned activities for the 2023 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival will span eleven days, from September 24 to October 4 (August 10 to August 20 according to the lunar calendar).

Regarding the 723rd anniversary of the death of national hero Hung Dao Great King Tran Quoc Tuan, the opening ceremony of the Con Son - Kiep Bac autumn festival in 2023 will take place on the evening of the 16th day of the eighth lunar month and will be broadcast on television. Approximately 60 to 70 minutes live on the Provincial Radio and Television Station, neighboring local stations, and several digital platforms. The gathering takes place from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
