DNHN - Long An Province arranged a working mission in Korea to attend the Investment Promotion Workshop and the 8th Yellow Sea Regional Forum, both of which were held in Chungcheongnam-do Province, South Korea.
Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, led the delegation, which included leaders from the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Transport, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Construction, and the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, as well as businesses participating in the investment promotion.

The Chairman of GS Group praised the officials of Long An province for their support of the Group's LNG power plant project in Long An, which is one of the projects in which GS Group has invested. With great aspirations, he anticipates that the project's feasibility studies will be finished by August 2022 and that GS Group will actively collaborate with VinaCapital to aggressively promote the project, deploy the project, and hold the groundbreaking ceremony as soon as feasible.
Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated that the leaders of Long An province are always interested in creating conditions for the project to come into operation soon, ensuring a stable power supply for businesses investing in Long An, including Korean enterprises, with over 200 enterprises operating in the province. GS Group's visit to Anyang Power Plant on the same day, in particular, demonstrated the Group's capacity to invest in the LNG Power Plant in Long An, which is projected to be finished on time.

The group recently paid a visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul, According to Nguyen Vu Tung, the Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, South Korea now has a strong need for competent employees to work in Korean firms owing to the ageing population.
